Splendid pair of electrarietal majolica pharmaceutical vases decorated with "naturalistic calligraphic" Savona first half of the seventeenth century. Both the two vases have a rounded body decorated in monochrome blue on white enamel, one with an intense blue and the other with a lighter blue; the band loops start from the neck and rest on the head of the grotesque side masks. The cartouche on the front of the first bears the inscription of the medicine Sir.de Sumoterre, the second the pharmaceutical inscription Cof. Betonice.
