Pair of sugar spreaders
Period: 18th century
These two very rare objects are now considered collector's items, to be admired and to be gratified by owning them. Originally no, they were simply part of an apparatus of cutlery, more specifically of that part not intended to be used as a table service, but indispensable in a kitchen. They are in fact two sugar spreaders, precursors of the more modern and banal colini. Stylistically perfect with an optimum level of refinement and elegance, in molten, embossed and chiseled silver and in excellent storage conditions, they both bear the “Torretta” logo with date (1) 779 and related samples. Size: length 21.5cm - weight 121g - 117g Price: 1.
